Job Description
A community film collective is seeking film crew members to support the production of a Mission Spotlight Video. The team is looking for LA-local cinematographers/DPs for an in-person shoot and editors who can complete post-production remotely. Additional gear support is also welcomed to help production run smoothly, including camera, lighting, and audio resources.

Job Responsibilities

  • Cinematographers/DPs: Capture high-quality footage on location, collaborating with the production team to achieve the desired visual style.

  • Editors: Assemble and deliver a polished final cut with a total runtime under 10 minutes, meeting production deadlines and feedback rounds as needed.

  • Coordinate with production on schedules, technical needs, and deliverables.

  • Maintain professionalism, reliability, and clear communication throughout the project.

Requirements

  • Cinematographers/DPs: Must be Los Angeles local and available to work on-location in Silver Lake.

  • Editors: Remote work is accepted; must be able to deliver a final cut under 10 minutes.

  • Crew members should have relevant experience/credits and be able to share prior work samples or credits.

  • Gear support is welcome (donations accepted): camera, tripod, light screens, audio/mics, and crafty/food support.

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
