Fantasy Film Background Actors – Men and Women

Job Description

A fantasy film production in Prague is seeking male and female background actors to appear as extras in a period-style production. Casting is open to new faces ages 16–65, with a preference for performers with natural, overgrown, or longer hairstyles and men with sideburns or full beards. Selected talent will participate in a full-day film shoot at locations and studios in the Prague-Barrandov area.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform as a background actor in a fantasy film.
• Participate in scenes set within a period-style fantasy environment.
• Follow direction from assistant directors and production staff.
• Maintain character appearance and continuity throughout filming.
• Remain flexible and available throughout the full shooting day.

Requirements

• Men and women ages 16–65.
• Men: standard clothing size 48/50, with slimmer builds preferred and shoe size up to 45.
• Women: standard clothing size 36/38.
• Longer or naturally overgrown hairstyles are preferred.
• Men with sideburns or full beards are preferred.
• Modern hairstyles are not suitable for the production.
• New faces are welcome.
• Must be available to work in Prague, Czech Republic.

Compensation

• 1,500 CZK per shooting day.
• 150 CZK per hour for overtime after 12 hours.
• Food and drinks provided during production.

Fantasy Hero Casting Call

Job Description

A fantasy feature film is casting men and women to portray heroic warriors and fighters in an epic fantasy production. Casting directors are seeking physically fit performers who can convincingly portray battle-ready heroes in a fantasy world. This is an exciting opportunity for athletic talent to appear in large-scale action scenes and bring immersive fantasy characters to life.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray heroic fighters and warriors in fantasy battle scenes.
• Participate in costume fittings before filming.
• Follow direction from the production team during action sequences.
• Maintain professionalism throughout the production.

Requirements

• Men and women are encouraged to apply.
• Men: Athletic build, tall, physically strong, with long or overgrown hair and long beards preferred.
• Women: Excellent physical fitness with a natural appearance, including natural hair, eyebrows, and lips without modern makeup.
• Must be available for all scheduled costume fittings and filming dates.
• Must be able to work in Prague and surrounding areas.

Compensation

• 2,500 CZK per filming day.
• Total compensation of 12,500 CZK for all five filming days.
