A bold, high-energy short film is casting an actress to play Pop-Star, the electrifying alter-ego of the protagonist. Pop-Star is the physical embodiment of Star’s desire for fame—sensual, fearless, flirty, magnetic, and unapologetically attention-grabbing. She embodies everything Star suppresses. Pop-Star exists to tempt Star into chasing the version of herself she could become, challenging her to step outside her insecurities and embrace ambition. This role requires a performer with strong charisma, stage presence, and the ability to transform into a larger-than-life persona.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray Pop-Star with boldness, sensuality, and high-intensity energy

• Perform stylized, dramatic, and performance-driven scenes

• Bring strong physicality and commanding screen presence

• Work closely with the director to shape the duality between Star and Pop-Star

• Participate in rehearsals, costume fittings, and character development moments

She rarely steps out of her comfort zone—until a harsh rejection from a record executive forces her to confront her deepest fears. This moment awakens a powerful desire to evolve, ultimately manifesting as her bold alter-ego, Pop-Star. This role requires a performer with strong emotional range, vulnerability, and the ability to portray both internal turmoil and quiet resilience.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray Star with emotional honesty, depth, and nuance

• Perform dramatic scenes involving vulnerability, frustration, and creative struggle

• Collaborate with the director to develop a grounded, layered performance

• Participate in rehearsals and follow detailed direction
