A dramatic short film is now casting talented actors for a performance-driven project exploring themes of love, sacrifice, and impossible choices. This A24-style production is focused on emotional depth and is being created with film festival submissions in mind. Casting directors are seeking strong performers who can deliver nuanced, compelling performances across a range of complex characters.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray assigned character with emotional authenticity and depth
- Collaborate closely with the director and cast to bring the story to life
- Participate in rehearsals and filming as scheduled
- Take direction and adapt performance to meet creative vision
- Maintain professionalism on set throughout the production
Requirements
- Elias: Male, African American, 50s
- Hale: Male, Caucasian or Mixed ethnicity, ages 45–60
- Jonah & Noah: Male, Black or Mixed ethnicity, ages 18–20 (portraying brothers)
- Strong acting skills with the ability to convey emotional intensity
- Previous acting experience preferred but not required
- Must be reliable and able to commit to the shoot schedule
- Must submit headshot, resume, and demo reel (if available)
