Job Description
A dramatic short film is now casting talented actors for a performance-driven project exploring themes of love, sacrifice, and impossible choices. This A24-style production is focused on emotional depth and is being created with film festival submissions in mind. Casting directors are seeking strong performers who can deliver nuanced, compelling performances across a range of complex characters.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray assigned character with emotional authenticity and depth
  • Collaborate closely with the director and cast to bring the story to life
  • Participate in rehearsals and filming as scheduled
  • Take direction and adapt performance to meet creative vision
  • Maintain professionalism on set throughout the production

Requirements

  • Elias: Male, African American, 50s
  • Hale: Male, Caucasian or Mixed ethnicity, ages 45–60
  • Jonah & Noah: Male, Black or Mixed ethnicity, ages 18–20 (portraying brothers)
  • Strong acting skills with the ability to convey emotional intensity
  • Previous acting experience preferred but not required
  • Must be reliable and able to commit to the shoot schedule
  • Must submit headshot, resume, and demo reel (if available)
