Job Description
PHP Arts & Entertainment is casting actors and crew members for It’s A Family Affair, a new comedy by Andrea Clinton. The production is seeking performers for multiple adult roles, along with dependable crew members interested in supporting the theatrical production. Actors should be comfortable performing comedy and dramatic material and working collaboratively through the rehearsal and performance process. The production will be presented at the Avenel Performing Arts Center.
Job Responsibilities
- Actors will rehearse and perform assigned roles in the stage production.
- Learn and deliver scripted material while following creative direction.
- Collaborate professionally with fellow performers and production personnel.
- Crew members will support the production according to assigned responsibilities.
Requirements
- Black men and women: late 20s–30s.
- Black men: 60s, understudy role.
- Black women: late 50s–60s.
- White women: 60s with a Southern accent.
- Crew applicants should be dependable, punctual, resourceful, and team-oriented.
- Theater experience is preferred for crew positions, but a strong work ethic is emphasized.
