Job Description
A Valentine’s-themed brand shoot in Toronto is casting actors and content creators for scripted and unscripted scenes for a greeting card brand. This paid shoot features multiple concepts, including a comedy sketch, a love-letter campaign, and brand challenges/unboxing. Talent should be comfortable on camera, able to take direction, and ready to deliver natural, engaging performances. Headshots are provided, refreshments are included, and participants may receive merch and portfolio footage access.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform scripted scenes and/or participate in content-style segments on camera

• Follow direction for comedic timing, reactions, and continuity

• Bring confident, natural energy suitable for Valentine’s-themed content

• Work professionally on set and stay available for your scheduled call time

Requirements

• Must be able to work in Toronto, Ontario as a local/self-report hire

• Open to union and non-union talent (as applicable)

• Comfortable on camera and able to take direction

• Some roles involve mature romantic themes and implied adult dialogue (see role notes)

• Able to provide basic submission details and be available for the scheduled shoot window

Roles

• Maya (Lead Female, 28–40) – Embarrassed → direct → passionate; must be comfortable with adult-themed dialogue and strong comedic/dramatic range

• Derek (Lead Male, 28–40, any race) – Reacts to escalating revelations; must show a range from subtle to confused reactions

• Dr. C (Therapist Role, 30–50, any race, any gender) – Professional therapist energy; supportive presence with subtle reactions; must be comfortable facilitating adult/sexual-themed dialogue

• Love Letter Writer (2–3 women, 25–40, any race/ethnicity) – Portray someone writing a bold Valentine’s card letter; intimate, romantic tone

• Brand Challenge/Unboxing Talent (Ages 25–45, any race, any gender) – Participate in challenges and unboxing-style reactions; no acting experience required
