Casting for "Unbound," an indie short drama about a young trans immigrant who escapes dictatorship and persecution in Iran and arrives in Florida only to find herself bound between state discriminatory laws, bigotry, and her authoritarian mother.
Character: BITA
- Iranian, late teens to late twenties.
- She is an introvert who enjoys gaming and geeking out. She has been through a lot and despite all adversities is determined to build a life of her own through resilience and hard work.
- Must identify as trans.
- Must be fluent in both English and Farsi.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a proof of concept which will be made into a feature. In our commitment to authentic representation, this film is being made with active involvement of advisors from the Iranian trans community.Â
