Job Description
An independent short film is casting background actors and production assistants for a one-day shoot in Maitland, FL. The scene takes place on a military base, featuring extras in a cafeteria setting. This project offers a great opportunity to gain on-set experience, earn IMDb credit, and network with an independent production team.

Job Responsibilities

• Extras will portray soldiers and military personnel during a cafeteria scene

• PAs will assist with clapper duties, help the DP with setups, and support props, craft services, and general production needs

• Follow direction from the production team and maintain professionalism on set

Requirements

Extras (Male, 20–30 years old)

• Must meet specific military appearance guidelines for authenticity

• Include any hairstyle updates in your submission email

• Must fit uniform sizes:

  • Shirt neck size: 16, 16 ½, 17 ½, or 18 ½

  • Pants waist: 32×30, 38R, 35L

  • Jacket: 35S

Production Assistants (Any Age, Any Gender)

• Must be organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with set operations, props, or camera support is a plus

Compensation
