An inspiring MFA thesis short film is seeking passionate and skilled crew members for an upcoming shoot. “Damascene Yasmine” follows the powerful journey of a Syrian refugee violinist torn between caring for her ailing mother and seizing a rare music opportunity. This is a unique chance to work on a deeply emotional student film backed by a prestigious film school with access to top-tier gear and resources.
Job Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the director and creative team during pre-production and production

Support filming operations including lighting, camera, set design, and logistics

Contribute to a high-quality short film driven by narrative and cultural authenticity

Maintain professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Requirements

Based in or able to work in Los Angeles

Availability during production dates (July 11–17, with prep on July 10)

Open to student film participants who are team-oriented and passionate about filmmaking

Willingness to commit time and energy to a meaningful creative project
