Job Description
A MetFilm School student production is casting talented dancers for A Few Seconds Ahead, an experimental short dance film exploring identity and societal pressure. This movement-driven project will feature expressive performances and is intended for festival submissions.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform in an experimental dance film production
• Collaborate with the creative team to bring expressive choreography to life
• Participate in rehearsals and filming on scheduled shoot dates
• Deliver emotionally driven and physically expressive performances

Roles Available

Lead Role: Lexi

• Female, ages 18–25
• Strong expressive contemporary dancer

Lexi Double (2 performers)

• Female, 18+

Ensemble Dancers (5–6 performers)

• Diverse, expressive dancers

Requirements

• Strong dance background (especially contemporary or expressive styles)
• Ability to convey emotion through movement
• Must be 18+ for most roles

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous performance or dance film experience
• Showreel or portfolio of dance work

Compensation

• Unpaid student project
