The feature film Birdland, adapted from the novel On the Way by Frank Morelli, is casting a masked assailant for a non-union student production filming in High Point, North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity for actors to portray a physically imposing and emotionally complex character in a dramatic coming-of-age story about family, loss, and redemption.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray the masked assailant in the feature film.
• Deliver a commanding physical performance with minimal dialogue.
• Follow direction from the director and production team.
• Convey menace, aggression, and emotional depth through movement and presence.
• Be available for the scheduled filming dates.

Requirements

• Ages 20–30s.
• Open to all ethnicities.
• Tall with a broad-shouldered, physically imposing build.
• Comfortable portraying an intimidating and volatile character.
• Naturally deep, commanding voice preferred.
• Comfortable performing with little to no visible facial appearance due to the mask.
• Available to film in High Point, North Carolina.
