Job Description
A SAG-AFTRA indie feature film is casting two lead actors to portray brothers Darren and Connor in a bold, emotionally demanding drama filming in Los Angeles. The story follows an Army cadet and his younger brother as a secret relationship is exposed, forcing them into a chaotic cross-country escape from the law. Both roles require performers capable of delivering raw, naturalistic performances while handling challenging material.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray one of two emotionally complex lead characters:
- Darren: A 19-year-old U.S. Army cadet with an athletic/toned build who is fiercely protective of his younger brother.
- Connor: A 17-year-old rebellious, artistic teenager with an athletic/toned build who finds safety and emotional support in his older brother.
- Perform emotionally intense dramatic scenes involving complicated family relationships and mature themes.
- Participate in scripted nudity and intimate scenes with intimacy choreography and established safety protocols.
- Perform limited stunt, movement, and underwater work as required.
- Work closely with the director, fellow cast members, and production team to create authentic, naturalistic performances.
Requirements
- Performers must be 18 or older.
- Seeking actors who can portray Darren, age 19, or Connor, age 17.
- Athletic or toned physique required for both roles.
- Must be comfortable working with intense and potentially distressing subject matter.
- Must be comfortable with scripted nudity and intimacy choreography.
- Must be comfortable with limited stunt, movement, and underwater work.
- SAG-AFTRA production under a ULB Agreement.
