Job Description
Joy is a Latina girl between 5 and 10 years old, the younger sister of Paola. She is innocent yet spunky, full of curiosity and a vivid imagination. Her humor and unfiltered observations often diffuse tension within the family, but underneath her playful energy, she is deeply affected by her family’s struggles. She looks up to her older sister and seeks comfort in her presence.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray Joy’s youthful energy and emotional depth authentically
- Deliver natural and expressive dialogue in both English and Spanish
- Work closely with the director and fellow cast members to bring family dynamics to life
- Engage in both lighthearted and emotionally impactful scenes
Requirements
- Female actor between 5-10 years old
- Latina heritage required
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Strong ability to take direction and convey emotion naturally
- Previous acting experience is a plus but not required
- Comfortable working on a film set for multiple days
