Job Description

Casting is now open for Lady Luck, a TV pilot proof-of-concept filming in Toronto, Ontario. The production is seeking a diverse range of non-union actors for multiple speaking roles. The story explores themes of frustration, control, and humor through interconnected characters in everyday life situations.


Job Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned roles authentically and collaboratively with the production team.

  • Participate in rehearsals and filming scheduled for mid to late November.

  • Take direction effectively and maintain professionalism on set.

  • Contribute to character development through emotional depth and realism.


Roles Available

  • Mom: Female, Middle Eastern, mid-50s. Disappointed and frustrated.

  • Dad: Male, Middle Eastern, mid-50s. Disappointed and frustrated.

  • Boyfriend: Male, Middle Eastern, mid-30s. Supportive but conflicted presence.

  • Café Manager #1: Male, mid-30s. Strict, overbearing, and controlling.

  • Café Manager #2: Female, mid-30s. Professional and assertive.

  • Uber Driver: Male, any ethnicity. Talkative, opinionated, and loves to share life stories.

  • Max: Male, early 20s. Outgoing, energetic, humorous, and full of spark.


Requirements

  • Non-union actors only.

  • Must be available for filming mid to late November in Toronto.

  • Must submit a short introduction, headshot, portfolio, and reel when applying.
