Job Description
A paid casting opportunity is now available for the upcoming short film National Dr., a coming-of-age drama about dreams, brotherhood, and the life-changing choices that define us. Casting directors are seeking talented performers of all experience levels to portray a variety of principal and supporting roles. Filming will take place in the Sacramento and Central Valley, California area. This project welcomes authentic, relatable talent with strong acting ability and encourages submissions from performers of all ethnicities.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray one of the featured characters in the short film.
- Collaborate with the director and production team during filming.
- Deliver authentic and emotionally engaging performances.
- Attend scheduled rehearsals and filming as required.
Requirements
- Seeking talent for the following roles:
- Tam (18–25): Reckless, competitive, loyal friend.
- Linda (40–55): Lee’s mother, strong and loving.
- Q (30–40): Music producer and mentor.
- Jade (18–25): Confident race starter and friend.
- Supporting roles and background extras are also available.
- Asian and Asian American talent preferred for select roles.
- All ethnicities are encouraged to apply.
- Strong acting ability is preferred.
- Authentic, relatable personalities are encouraged.
- No previous acting experience is required.
