A gripping student short film is now casting for If These Walls Could Talk, a psychological drama exploring relationships, obsession, and control. The story follows Joanna, a woman whose peaceful life is disrupted by her noisy new neighbors, Lana and Marcus. As she listens to their escalating arguments and glimpses disturbing behavior through half-open blinds, she uncovers something dark and sinister beneath the surface.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray complex emotional scenes authentically and with depth

• Collaborate closely with the director and cast to develop character dynamics

• Participate in rehearsals and scheduled film shoots

• Deliver strong performances in both dialogue-driven and silent tension scenes

Requirements

• Joanna (Lead Role): Female, playing age 40–59, any ethnicity. A woman who transitions from annoyance to deep unease as she discovers her neighbors’ secrets.

• Lana (Supporting Role): Female, playing age 20–29, any ethnicity. Youthful and reckless, driven by emotion and passion but masking inner turmoil.

• Marcus (Supporting Role): Male, playing age 29–35, any ethnicity. Charismatic yet manipulative, capable of portraying psychological control and danger.

• Comfortable with emotionally intense subject matter (themes of domestic tension and control)

• Prior acting experience preferred but not required
