Job Description
A passionate independent film team is seeking a reliable and motivated Set Production Assistant (PA) for an upcoming dark comedy short film titled Checkout Time. This is a great opportunity for aspiring filmmakers and entry-level crew members to gain hands-on experience on set in a collaborative and creative environment. No prior experience is required, and training will be provided.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and ready to support various departments to ensure smooth daily production operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide general on-set support, including lock-ups, production runs, and assisting crew members as needed

  • Support the Assistant Director (AD) and production team with tasks throughout the day

  • Maintain organization and cleanliness on set between setups

  • Assist with receiving and distributing meals, snacks, and beverages to cast and crew

  • Ensure the craft services table remains stocked and organized throughout the shoot

  • Be available and present for all scheduled production days

Requirements

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment

  • Reliable transportation to set

  • Must be available for the full duration of the production schedule

  • No prior experience required (training provided)
