An award-winning director, known for White Gaze (Blumhouse Patrons Circle recipient), Confluence (BAFTA and Oscar-qualifying festival selections), and the upcoming sci-fi feature Menstrual, is casting lead roles for a one-day short film shoot in Los Angeles.

The short film, titled Postfeminism, explores the power dynamics between a wary actress and a male director during rehearsal for a slasher scene. The project examines exploitation, misread intentions, and shifting power structures in a tense, character-driven narrative.

This is a non-union production offering credit, copy, and meals.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a lead character in a narrative short film

• Perform emotionally layered scenes in a rehearsal setting

• Collaborate closely with the director and creative team

• Be available for a one-day shoot in Los Angeles

Requirements

• Strong acting ability and on-camera presence

• Comfortable performing in intense, character-driven material

• Non-union talent

A production team is seeking a creative and reliable Art Director/Set Dresser to assist with a quick and fun social media campaign shoot in Philadelphia. The project requires someone who can work efficiently under a tight timeline to help design and organize the set, ensuring a visually appealing and cohesive look for the shoot.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the production team to create an engaging and well-designed set.

• Source, arrange, and manage props, décor, and set pieces as needed.

• Assist with styling, layout adjustments, and on-the-spot creative problem-solving during the shoot.

• Maintain organization and workflow efficiency throughout production.

Requirements

• Must be available for the shoot date.

• Experience in art direction, set design, or production design preferred.

• Strong creative eye and ability to work independently.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to collaborate effectively with the team.
