Job Description
Hybrid Body Lab, in collaboration with Artist-in-Residence Lauren Hooks, is seeking models for an avant-garde beauty editorial project. This creative shoot explores hair as art, blending technology, texture, and form through visually striking looks. Selected models will participate in a high-concept editorial shoot featuring custom wigs and natural braided styles.
Job Responsibilities
- Model for a professional beauty editorial photoshoot
- Showcase avant-garde hairstyles and artistic concepts
- Collaborate with stylists and creative directors on set
- Follow creative direction while delivering strong visual presence
- Participate in chest-up beauty-focused shoots
Requirements
- Open to all body types, identities, and expressions
- Comfortable with avant-garde and editorial styling
- Strong on-camera presence
- For braided look:
- Minimum 4 inches of hair (stretched)
- Hair types 3–4 (curly/coily)
- Availability for scheduled shoot dates
- Preference given to Cornell students and local talent
