African American Male Actors for Harlem-Based TV Series

Job Description
A scripted television series inspired by a true Harlem story is casting four African American male actors to portray teenage characters central to a gritty, music-driven drama. Set in the early roots of hip hop culture, the show will explore brotherhood, ambition, and survival through the lens of Harlem’s streets. This is a powerful opportunity for talent with range, authenticity, and strong dramatic instincts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray a lead teenage character in a drama rooted in hip hop and Harlem culture

  • Participate in emotionally driven scenes that capture youth and urban storytelling

  • Work closely with directors to bring depth and truth to the script

  • Collaborate with a creative team to deliver an authentic narrative arc

Requirements

  • African American male actors, must be 18+ but able to convincingly play 16–19

  • Strong acting ability with experience in drama or youth-centered stories

  • Must be available for filming in July 2025
