Short Film Casting Call – Teenage Snow
Job Description
The upcoming short film Teenage Snow is now casting three actors to portray emotionally complex characters in a powerful coming-of-age drama. The story follows three best friends who reunite in their hometown five years after the overdose death of their friend, Maribel. As they spend time together in the forest where she died, they are forced to confront their grief and rediscover who they’ve become.
Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with the director and other cast members to develop emotionally layered performances

Use improvisation and devised techniques to explore character relationships and emotional depth

Participate in minimal-crew, documentary-style filming focused on authenticity and naturalism

Engage creatively in rehearsal exercises that shape dialogue and story flow
Requirements

Three actors, any gender, age 23

Strong improvisational and dramatic acting skills preferred

Must be available for a 4-day shoot from January 17–21, 2026, in Atlanta (ITP)
Character Descriptions

Anger (Age 23, any gender): A fiery spirit who never left town. Sarcastic, bold, and still grieving Maribel, whom they loved deeply.

Sadness (Age 23, any gender): Emotional and hypersensitive, obsessed with honoring Maribel’s life and finding “truth” in her death.

Denial (Age 23, any gender): Detached and composed, now focused on career and family. Hides grief behind normalcy and once shared a complicated relationship with Maribel.
