Job Description:
Casting and hiring crew for Jane, a short psychological thriller filming in November. The film explores themes of anxiety, escapism, and self-discovery, following a complex protagonist navigating emotional struggles. Production will take place over four days, either consecutively or across two weekends, based on cast and crew availability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the director and creative team

• Help bring a character-driven psychological story to life

• Maintain professionalism on set and commitment throughout filming

Available Roles:

• Charlie (mid-20s, female or masculine presenting): The lead role of a young adult battling anxiety and substance dependency. The actor must be able to portray a wide emotional range and should be comfortable with scenes involving smoking and drug use. The character is openly LGBTQ+.

Crew Positions:

• Assistant Director

• 2nd Camera Operator (works alongside the Director of Photography)

• Sound Recordist

• SFX Artist

• Gaffer

Requirements:

• Availability during mid-to-late November (13–16 or 15–16 & 22–23)

• Passion for psychological thrillers and independent filmmaking

• Equipment ownership is a plus but not required

Compensation:
