A Full Sail Film Master’s Program production is casting talent for “Cheer On,” a non-union student film. The story follows Zack, a male cheer captain who accidentally rips his shirt in front of his squad and must overcome his embarrassment while demonstrating a new routine. The production is casting a male actor in his 20s for the lead role of Zack, along with male and female performers in their 20s for extra roles.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform as the lead character Zack or appear as an extra in the production.
- Participate in cheerleading and movement-based scenes as directed.
- Follow direction from the filmmaking team throughout production.
- Lead actor must be comfortable performing shirtless as required by the story.
Requirements
- Zack: Male, 20s, any ethnicity.
- Zack should have a slightly overweight build appropriate for the character.
- Must be comfortable cheering and appearing shirtless.
- Dance experience is preferred but not required.
- Extras: Male and female talent in their 20s.
