Job Description:
An exciting casting call is open for a lead female actor to participate in a one-day shoot for a rotoscope animation feature film proof of concept. This creative project, directed by a well-established Canadian filmmaker, will use the unique animation process of rotoscoping—filming live actors and animating them frame by frame. This opportunity is part of the development stage and not for the final production.
Job Responsibilities:

Portray the character “Ali” in a filmed performance for animation reference

Express a complex emotional range to convey both a philosophical and sensitive nature

Collaborate with the director to bring out specific character traits during the shoot

Participate in a professional, one-day production in Toronto
Requirements:

Female actor, 18 years old

White

Must embody a fiercely intellectual and emotionally layered teen from a wealthy but neglectful background

Ability to portray a mix of cynicism and hidden romantic vulnerability

Based in or able to travel to Toronto
