Job Description
An independent political thriller is casting nationwide for lead and supporting roles in Dictatrix, a gripping drama about power, loyalty, and betrayal. The story follows Ghana’s first female President, Nana Yaa Sintim, as political intrigue threatens her life. This production offers a paid opportunity for lead roles, with meals, transportation, and accommodations provided if needed. Actors will also receive a copy of the completed film.
Job Responsibilities

Portray assigned character with emotional depth and authenticity

Collaborate closely with the director and fellow cast members to achieve the creative vision

Participate in rehearsals and filming across scheduled dates

Deliver performances that reflect the complex political and personal stakes of the story
Requirements

Nana Yaa (Lead, Female, 25–45, Ghanaian descent): Regal and stoic, Twi-speaking President of Ghana. Requires West African (Ghanaian) accent and at least beginner-level Ashanti-Twi language skills.

Martha Holdbrook (Lead, Female, 25–45, White/European descent): UK-born, Ghana-schooled journalist. Requires South London or any UK-based accent.

Ajingo (Supporting, Male, 20–50, Black/African descent): Physically imposing Presidential bodyguard. Must be 6ft or taller.
