Job Description

A paid 2D animated thesis film is seeking three voice actors to bring a trio of distinctive characters to life. The production is looking for performers who can deliver strong emotional choices, clear character personalities, and expressive vocal performances. Roles include Id, a passionate and emotional storyteller; Ego, a level-headed and calculated rival; and Suit, an aggressive antagonist and old American studio executive.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide voice-over performances for a 2D animated thesis film.
• Bring the assigned character’s personality, emotions, and motivations to life.
• Deliver expressive dialogue that matches the tone and direction of each scene.
• Adjust vocal delivery based on creative direction.
• Collaborate with the production team to establish a consistent character voice.

Requirements

• Voice acting ability with strong characterization and emotional range.
• Comfortable performing animated dialogue in different emotional tones.
• Ability to interpret character descriptions and adapt vocal delivery accordingly.
• For Id: able to portray a passionate, scrappy, hot-headed, and highly emotional personality.
• For Ego: able to portray a cold, calculated, level-headed personality with both restrained and aggressive moments.
• For Suit: able to portray an older, aggressive, lazy, impatient, and antagonistic studio executive.
• Reliable and able to follow voice direction.
