Job Description
A psychological short film titled Drip is seeking a female actor to play the lead role of Jessi. This character-driven project is set entirely within a confined space and explores themes of fear, control, and the unknown. The film is designed for festival submissions and offers a visually compelling and emotionally intense performance opportunity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray the lead character “Jessi” in a psychological short film
  • Deliver a powerful, emotionally driven performance with minimal dialogue
  • Perform physically demanding scenes involving water and confinement
  • Collaborate closely with the director to convey internal conflict and tension
  • Participate in a multi-day weekend shoot

Requirements

  • Female, ages 25–30
  • Height: 5’5”–5’7”; Weight: 110–120 lbs (due to set limitations)
  • Strong emotional range, capable of portraying fear, confusion, and despair
  • Ability to convey internal conflict with subtle expressions and physical performance
  • Comfortable performing in water for extended periods
  • Comfortable with safe, controlled restraint scenes
  • Ability to perform underwater actions, including holding breath without hands
  • Open to repeated submersion takes
  • Must be comfortable wearing nude-toned undergarments

Compensation

  • $200 honorarium
  • 2–3 day shoot (weekends)
  • Opportunity for film festival exposure
  • High-quality cinematography and reel footage
