Job Description
Dixon Entertainment is seeking male and female non-union actors for a staged reading of the play #eleven as part of the Next Step Theatre Festival in Manhattan, New York. Written and directed by Kay Dixon, the production offers performers the opportunity to participate in a professional staged reading environment featuring a dynamic and engaging script.
Actors selected for the reading should be comfortable performing excerpts from the play and collaborating in a live theater setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in a staged reading performance for the play #eleven
- Read and perform scripted excerpts during the live theater event
- Attend the full rehearsal and reading schedule
- Collaborate with the director and fellow cast members
- Deliver professional and engaging performances in front of a live audience
Requirements
- Must be non-union
- Male and female actors ages 21 and older encouraged to apply
- Must be available for the full reading schedule
- Comfortable performing live staged readings
