Pilot Episode Casting Call – “Past Life”

Job Description
An upcoming eight-part series is now casting for its pilot episode, Past Life, a mystery-driven, queer-centered story written from a feminine perspective. The series follows a woman haunted by recurring nightmares as she uncovers secrets from her past lives, blending psychological intrigue, romance, and suspense.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray emotionally complex characters in a story exploring identity, memory, and desire

  • Participate in dramatic and intimate on-screen scenes with authenticity and sensitivity

  • Collaborate closely with the director to convey nuanced character relationships

  • Attend rehearsals and filming days as scheduled

Requirements

  • Vera (35–48, Lead): A magnetic detective with a commanding presence. Sharp, sensual, and grounded in authority while concealing vulnerability. Must be comfortable with emotionally intimate scenes (no nudity). Queer women are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Dr. Constance (Female, 50–60, Supporting): A warm, professional therapist specializing in hypnotherapy. Inviting, intelligent, and empathetic. Open to all ethnicities; Black actors are especially encouraged to audition.

  • Alice (25–35, Supporting): The spirited girlfriend of Charlotte. Fun, flirtatious, and impulsive with an emotional core. Must convey a believable chemistry and openness on screen.

Compensation

  • Unpaid, but will receive credit, footage, and meals
