Job Description
A Columbus, Ohio student film production team is now casting actors for multiple short films filming this spring. This student film casting call is seeking local Ohio actors who can work in the Columbus and Granville areas.

With multiple short films in production, there are a variety of acting roles available, including lead, supporting, and voice acting opportunities. Most projects are narrative-based, offering actors the chance to gain on-camera experience, collaborate with emerging filmmakers, and build their portfolios.

Filming is scheduled to take place between March and May. In-person auditions will be held at various Columbus-area locations.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform assigned roles in student short films

• Attend in-person auditions at designated Columbus-area locations

• Collaborate with student directors and production teams

• Participate in scheduled rehearsals and filming dates

• Deliver authentic performances suited to narrative-driven projects

Requirements

• Must be based in Ohio and able to travel to Columbus and Granville

• Open to male and female actors in the following age ranges:

  • Male: 18–22

  • Male: 25–35

  • Male: 40–60s

  • Female: 18–25

  • Female: 30–60

• Comfortable working on student film productions

• Reliable transportation to audition and filming locations

• Voice acting experience is a plus but not required

Compensation
