Luxe to Life – Casting Female Talent (20s)

Job Description
Casting is underway for an upcoming independent dramedy following two women forced to confront their past and rebuild their identities. Production is seeking two strong female performers in their 20s who can bring depth, emotional range, and grounded storytelling to the screen. Filming will take place in San Antonio, Texas, from January 17–18, 2026. This is a non-union, unpaid project; however, food will be provided along with a copy for reels.

Job Responsibilities
• Portray emotionally complex characters with authenticity
• Take direction and collaborate closely with the director and cast
• Participate in character-driven scenes requiring comedic and dramatic timing
• Bring strong on-screen presence and commitment to the story

Requirements
• Female talent, 20s

Role: Kate
• Stylish, charismatic, and used to getting her way
• Must portray a once-privileged woman suddenly forced to face reality
• Reference inspirations: Cher Horowitz, Elle Woods, Caroline Channing

Role: Emma
• Practical, witty, hardworking writer
• Must portray a woman on the verge of a breakthrough while battling burnout
• Plays well as a relatable, grounded contrast to Kate
• Reference inspirations: Jess Day, Andy Sachs, Max Black
