Filming in the Richmond/Houston area, this film follows a single mother raising a child on the autism spectrum while escaping domestic violence and confronting deep emotional trauma. Her journey of healing is supported by faith, friendship, and courage.
Casting is currently open for two essential supporting roles that add emotional weight and connection to the story’s message of hope and transformation.
Job Responsibilities
- Bring emotional authenticity and depth to character-driven scenes
- Collaborate with the director and cast to enhance storytelling through performance
- Participate in scheduled rehearsals and filming dates as needed
Requirements
Therapist Role:
- White female, middle-aged
- Must have a strong Texas accent
- Warm, empathetic presence with great listening and feedback delivery
Childhood Friend Role:
- Black teenage female, age 16
- Outgoing, energetic, and expressive
- Plays a key role in inviting the main character to a joyful community moment
