Cloud8 was born in New Zealand, a land known for its purity, healing landscapes, and the world’s finest Manuka honey. Our founder, Stuart, is a true Kiwi—raised in a small town on New Zealand’s North Island, where the air is crisp, the land untouched, and wellness is simply a way of life. As a boy, Stuart dreamed of becoming a professional road cyclist. He trained for years, pushing his limits, even as he battled asthma. Eventually, it was a combination of disciplined training and clean, natural nutrition that helped him overcome it. Although he didn’t become a professional athlete, he grew into something else entirely—a father, and later, an entrepreneur with a mission. Cloud8 began as a personal project: to create a clean, non-stimulant performance drink for his 13-year-old son, who had inherited his passion for competitive cycling. The market was flooded with aggressive, synthetic energy drinks—none of which were suitable for a growing teenager. In search of something better, Stuart turned to traditional New Zealand botanicals.
