Now Casting Female Lead for Short Film in New Zealand

Job Description
An exciting short film is seeking a New Zealand-based female actor to portray a teenager in a heartfelt father-daughter story. The film, set to shoot in the South Island, centers around a character from the blind and low-vision community. Applicants with a personal connection to this community are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and be part of a meaningful cinematic project.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray a teenager in a father-daughter story with authenticity and emotional depth
  • Participate in rehearsals and a four-day shoot in the South Island of New Zealand
  • Follow director and production team instructions to bring the character to life
  • Collaborate with cast and crew in a professional manner

Requirements

  • Female, aged 17-22
  • Must be based in New Zealand and available to travel for filming
  • Must be available for four shoot days plus rehearsals between June and September
  • No previous acting experience required, but a strong ability to convey emotions is preferred
