Job Description

Candido Cornejo Casting is casting two lead roles for “The Trip,” a SAG-AFTRA short film segment of the anthology feature “Through the Blinds.” The production will shoot in Los Angeles from August 28–30 and is seeking Los Angeles local hires only.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a principal character role in a SAG-AFTRA short film.
• Bring emotional depth and authenticity to the character.
• Collaborate with the director and production team during filming.
• Be available for the scheduled Los Angeles production dates.

Requirements

• Larry Williams: Man, early 20s; Black, Hispanic/Latinx, Indigenous, or mixed ethnicity; queer. Character is loyal, deep, adventurous, and planning a motorcycle trip through South America.
• Janie White: Woman, early 20s; Filipina American. Character is fierce, feminist, inclusive, career-driven, academically accomplished, and extremely loyal to her friends.

Compensation

$260 per day.
