Job Description
A short film titled “Chopsticks” is casting actors for a heartwarming and comedic story about a young couple’s first date at a ramen restaurant. The film explores themes of insecurity, connection, and self-acceptance as the pair navigate the awkward yet relatable challenge of not knowing how to use chopsticks.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray authentic and emotionally engaging performances that reflect everyday insecurities and humor

  • Collaborate closely with the director and cast to bring genuine chemistry and charm to the story

  • Participate in rehearsals and filming sessions with enthusiasm and professionalism

Requirements

  • Ages 18–20, all ethnicities welcome

  • Must be available for filming in Austin, Texas

  • Comfortable performing in comedic and heartfelt scenes

  • Acting experience preferred but not required

  • Arturo (Supporting, Male): Sarcastic realist who teases Julian but secretly cares

  • Ashlyn (Supporting, Female): Dry and straightforward; the grounding voice of truth in the group
