SAG Commercial Casting: Real Mechanics (Ages 18–30)
Job Description
A SAG commercial is casting real mechanics and actor-mechanics who can authentically work in a shop environment. This opportunity is open to talent ages 18–30, including non-actors, as long as the mechanic experience is real and camera-ready. SAG membership is not required, and travel is provided for selected talent.
Job Responsibilities
- Appear on camera as a real mechanic in a commercial setting
- Follow direction on set while performing natural, authentic shop actions
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a cooperative attitude
- Bring genuine mechanical credibility through real-world experience
- Work comfortably in a production environment alongside crew and talent
Requirements
- Ages 18–30
- Real mechanic experience (non-actors welcome)
- Comfortable on camera and able to take direction
- SAG membership not required
- Able to travel if selected (travel provided)

Job Description
A commercial project is seeking actors who are current USAA members to share a testimonial about their experience with USAA’s services. This opportunity is open to performers who can speak naturally and comfortably on camera about their real customer experience. Talent must also be conflict-free for specific competing categories (listed below).
Job Responsibilities
- Provide an on-camera testimonial discussing your personal experience with USAA.
- Follow producer/director guidance for delivery, tone, and messaging.
- Participate in any required auditions, interviews, rehearsals, or filming as scheduled.
- Maintain a professional, reliable presence throughout the production process.
Requirements
- Must be a current USAA member.
- Must be comfortable speaking on camera and delivering a natural testimonial.
- Must be clear of conflicts in the following categories:
- P&C Insurance (Home, Renters, Auto Insurance)
- Banking (including credit cards)
- Life Insurance
- Must be available to work if selected (production schedule provided by casting).
