A leading media organization is seeking filmmakers and storytellers to submit pitches for scripted short films and pilot projects. Selected creators will receive production funding, professional support, and distribution across web and cable TV platforms. Job Responsibilities
- Develop and pitch original scripted short films or pilot concepts
- Prepare production-ready materials for review
- Collaborate with production teams during project development
- Execute high-quality storytelling aligned with creative vision
- Participate in production and post-production processes
Requirements
- Must be a filmmaker or storyteller based in or connected to New York City
- Strong creative vision and original concept
- Projects must be production-ready
- Experience in filmmaking, directing, or screenwriting preferred
- Ability to collaborate with production and creative teams
- Special consideration for projects highlighting New York City history
Compensation
- $15,000 funding for selected short film projects
- $7,500 funding for selected pilot projects
- Access to editing suites and select production equipment
