Job Description
A non-union feature film is casting paid supporting roles and day player roles for an upcoming independent production. Talent will have the opportunity to work on a professionally produced feature film, receive IMDb credit, and gain valuable on-set experience. Roles range from one to four filming days and offer performers the chance to contribute to a character-driven comedy-drama project.
Casting directors are seeking actors of various ages, backgrounds, and experience levels to portray a range of memorable supporting characters. This is an excellent opportunity for emerging and experienced actors looking to expand their credits and collaborate with an independent filmmaking team.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray supporting or day player characters in a feature film
- Attend auditions, rehearsals, and filming as required
- Deliver authentic and engaging performances
- Collaborate with directors, cast members, and production staff
- Follow production schedules and creative direction
- Maintain professionalism on set throughout filming
Requirements
- Open to actors of diverse backgrounds and experience levels
- Ability to portray one of the following character types:
- Female, mid-20s to early 30s, confident and expressive supporting roles
- Male, 30s to 50s, supporting and day player roles
- Female, late 30s to early 50s, reporter-type role
- Male, 20s, crew member-type role
- Strong acting skills and willingness to collaborate
- Comfortable working in an independent film environment
- Available for filming commitments ranging from one to four days
- Headshot, resume, and reel preferred when applicable
