Job Description
A short film for the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge is seeking female or femme-presenting non-binary actors to serve as understudies (backup performers) in case of last-minute cast illness. Filming will take place in Midtown Manhattan and Central Park.

Job Responsibilities

• Be available on set as an understudy/backup performer
• Step into roles if needed due to cast availability changes
• Collaborate with cast and production team
• Participate in full-day shoots as scheduled

Roles

• Christina (Early 20s–Early 50s)
  Chronically ill, lonely, sarcastic. Actors with disabilities strongly preferred
• Wilhelmina (Early 20s–40s)
  Gregarious, blunt, medieval ghost. Open to disabled or non-disabled actors

Requirements

• Female or femme-presenting non-binary actors
• Must be available for full-day shoots
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Willing to follow COVID safety protocols (daily testing and masking if required)
• Headshot and reel or clip required for submission

Compensation

• Unpaid (per film challenge rules)
• Meals provided
• Credit and reel footage provided
• SAG actors may participate under a waiver agreement
