Job Description
A non-union pilot episode for a modular dark comedy is now casting lead roles. This Southern California–based project is seeking bold, confident performers with strong comedic instincts and big personalities. The production is looking for actors and improv performers who can think quickly, bring originality to their roles, and thrive in a character-driven comedy environment.
Job Responsibilities

Portray a lead character in a scripted comedy pilot

Bring strong comedic timing, personality, and improvisational ability

Perform confidently on camera in a fast-paced production setting
Requirements

Young Black male, ages 18–25, super-macho type

Young Black male, ages 18–25, genius or tech-savvy type

Young Latinx or racially ambiguous male, ages 18–25, longer hair a plus, ladies’ man/class clown type

Young White male, ages 18–25, loves rap music and has strong personal style and swagger

Must be confident, expressive, and comfortable with comedic performance

Acting, improv, or comedy experience strongly preferred

Job Description
Seeking Black mothers between the ages of 25-35 who have a newborn (6 months or younger) and are currently breastfeeding. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of an impactful project that highlights the beauty of motherhood.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in a professional photoshoot or filming session
- Showcase real-life bonding moments between mother and baby
- Follow production team instructions during the shoot
Requirements
- Black women, ages 25-35
- Must have a baby 6 months or younger
- Currently breastfeeding
- Comfortable in front of the camera
