A paid non-union short film is now casting male talent for the psychological drama Hammerhead. The story follows a disciplined dancer struggling with internal trauma and the pressure of perfection, leading to a surreal and intense journey through identity, control, and self-worth. This project offers actors the opportunity to portray emotionally complex characters in a visually and psychologically driven narrative.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform scripted scenes portraying emotionally intense and layered characters
• Collaborate with the director and creative team to bring characters to life
• Participate in rehearsals and filming as required
• Deliver strong, expressive performances that align with the film’s psychological tone

Requirements

Nicolas

• Male, 20s, White
• Strong acting ability with emotional depth
• Dance experience preferred
• Ability to portray internal conflict and vulnerability

Terence

• Male, mid to late 50s, White
• Strong presence with the ability to portray intensity and authority
• Experience in dramatic roles preferred
• Ability to embody a complex, emotionally distant character

Compensation
