‘HAIRSPRAY’ VIRTUAL OPEN CALL

The Tony Award winning Broadway production of HAIRSPRAY is going on a 1st class tour of Australia starting July 2022 and we are casting talent from the US for the roles of ‘Seaweed’, the ‘Dynamites’, and the ‘Motormouth’ singing/dancing ensemble.

Motormouth Casting: 

• All Gender African/American 
• To play high school age 
• Dancers and singers who hangout and dance with Motormouth and her record shop.
• ENSEMBLE

This tour is AEA non jurisdictional as its overseas, and the salary is comparable to US AEA tours.
Valid US Passports required. In person auditions are happening in NYC on May 4th 2022!

Casting call for Clarity Episode 3

We still have a few roles that we are casting for.

You must be alright with submitting a negative CoVid-19 test result within 48 hours of shoot date.

Must be available for dates as they are set. See role descriptions for exact dates.

Shoot Dates: 5/15, 5/22, and 5/28

Compensation: Non-speaking roles will only receive IMDB credit.

Location: Chicago, surrounding suburbs, Northwest region of Indiana

Role: 
Club patrons: any gender and ethnicity between the ages of 18 and up.
This is a background role and non-paid.
Talent will receive IMDB credit.
Must be available on 5/22 or 5/28.

Casting Call for True Crime Series / Episode 3 (203) 

New specs for a true crime series/Episode THREE (203): Note: we are casting talent that look similar to the real people portrayed in the storyline.
Shoot days:  5/10/22, 5/11/22, 5/12/22 (ONLY LEAD works all three days) in San Antonio.  Local hire.

Storyline: A cash-strapped spoken word artist mother of four turns to escorting then identity theft and credit card fraud to make ends meet. She eventually lands herself in prison at Camp Cupcake before reinventing herself as a successful lady boss.

Casting: 

LACOLA:  Black female, 35 to 45 years old. 5’2″ tall and Curvy. Doey-eyed/long brown hair.
She has pretty hands and her nails are always manicured in the latest trend.
She has three personas: Artist, Dominatrix, and Upscale Businesswoman. Actor must be comfortable in Dominatrix outfits

LaCola is a social go-getter by nature.

They call her the spiritual center of the family. Has been through some challenging times but still looks good. She modeled when she was younger and makes sure to always look put together.
