Job Responsibilities:

Job Description: We are seeking talented individuals for a new project with Discover Durham. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a video campaign promoting Durham, North Carolina. The shoot will take place on one day during the last week of June or early July. We are looking for diverse talent to portray various planning roles with minimal speaking lines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform the assigned role in a professional and engaging manner.

  • Follow the direction of the production team during the shoot.

  • Submit a self-tape audition by the specified deadline.

  • Be available for one full day of shooting in Durham, NC.

Requirements:

  • Must be available for one shoot day in the last week of June or early July.

  • Ability to portray the character as described in the audition notes.

  2. Association Planner

    • Description: Non-binary (or comfortable portraying), any race, aged 25-35.

    • Audition Direction: Portray a crunchy/hippy person planning a gathering for an environmentally-conscious association. Introduce yourself and explain the type of venue you need. Bonus points for a funny association name.

  3. Corporate Planner

    • Description: Female, African American, Asian, or Hispanic, aged 35-45.

    • Audition Direction: Portray an overworked meeting planner. Introduce yourself and explain the type of venue you need for a corporate meeting. Bonus points for a funny stereotypical corporate event name.

Compensation:

  • Rate: $750 per day, less agency fee.

  • Usage: Video will be used for 5 years online/digital/social media.

Requirements:

  • No face, neck, or hand tattoos.

  • Availability for one day between July 24-26 (specific day TBD).

  • One guardian is required on set with any minor 17 years or younger.

Compensation:
