Summary

Job Description

This position is responsible for providing the leadership, direction and resources to effectively manage retail stores, daily departmental operations and special projects in support of the theme park.

Essential Functions

  • Executes strategic plans to optimize store profits while maintaining quality, cleanliness and Guest Service standards. Consistently drive process improvements and efficiencies to enhance Guest Service and retail store operations.
  • Support the creation of a cohesive team while demonstrating organizational, planning, delegation, mentoring and coaching skills.
  • Partner with Human Resources Manager to continuously train, develop and promote all retail teams through individual performance planning.
  • Assist with performance development including administering discipline, resolving employee relation’s issues and conducting individual and team meetings.
  • Responsible for development of hourly employees including training, mentoring and coaching.
  • Accountable for maximizing daily sales and effectively managing costs, labor, inventory and cash control, while focusing on exceeding annual Budget targets.
  • Communicates on a constant basis with Store Manager and Area Manager regarding Retail Stores and staff performances and challenges.
  • Ensures that GSAT and shopper reports are within acceptable levels.
  • Responsible for assisting with the development of weekly schedules, with a focus on maintaining staffing levels that satisfy budget as well as guest service goals.
  • Maintain or exceed weekly budgeted variable operation results: shrink, variable labor, safety, guest service, cleanliness and visual/merchandising presentation.
  • Responsible for monitoring performance and making recommendations to maximize current trends.
  • Communicate on a regular basis with Store Manager and Area Manager regarding locations performance and challenges; make recommendations for improvement when necessary.
  • Review and analyze store performance results daily while identifying and resolving opportunities with management team.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of high volume retail management experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or related field), or 5 years Industry experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Must be available to work on weekends, holidays, and nights as required
  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walking/traveling to multiple venues throughout the day

Your Daily Responsibilities Include

  • Primarily responsible for directing the overall marketing operations, promotion creation and execution, and relationship management as it relates to key accounts. Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Marketing Strategy, you will be a critical member of the marketing team that maximizes economic upside for Universal Studios Hollywood. You will lead audience-driven strategy development, communications planning, journey coordination and performance measurement. You will also serve as an internal consultant identifying and solving business issues and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Annual and Trimester Planning: Partner across the organization to manage the annual marketing calendar and trimester priorities for their segment. Collect and interpret supporting data for annual situation assessment and post-program assessments.
  • Strategic Marketing: Provide holistic assessment of business performance to inform decisions. Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address gaps. Identify what is working or not working in the marketing program to inform changes in business priorities. Track, assess and report weekly business results vs. plan. Partner with Finance to track attendance budget and provide weekly updates.
  • Business Development: Articulate opportunities/challenges, develop a hypothesis, frame the approach, gather supporting data, drive the analysis, and communicate findings succinctly and clearly. Monitor and industry and consumer trends. Serve as the data subject matter expert to support business cases.
  • Internal Consultant: Partner with Finance on forecasting model. Partner with cross-functional teams for data requests and information sharing.

Responsibilities:

  • You follow and know influencers and content creators across Instagram, TikTok and Twitch
  • Work with the influencer team to strategically identify talent for gifting, brand campaigns, event activations and programs that maximize ROI and achieve campaign KPIs
  • Influencer outreach, negotiation, and contracting to ensure an optimal outcome for the brand
  • Oversee influencer generated branded content to ensure we stick to campaign timelines and deliverables
  • Compile, analyze, and assess the performance of influencer marketing campaigns to make strategic decisions and improvements
  • Maintain an influencer database with accurate and up to date brand partnerships
  • Monitor event calendar and coordinate campaigns around major events
  • Build strong relationships with talent, influencers, and agencies
  • Develop and manage the influencer gifting program

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in influencer marketing, preferably in fashion and entertainment
  • Direct experience in gaming or very thorough knowledge and passion for gaming, gaming social communities, and trends
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Master multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize

Job Description

The Entertainment Production group is responsible for producing live themed entertainment at Universal Studios Hollywood, including development of marquee events (Halloween Horror Nights, Holidays at Universal, etc), park entertainment of various scale (theatrical, street atmosphere, special events), placemaking efforts, and other notable special projects.

Working in a collaborative setting, the Production Designer is responsible for conceiving, defining, and developing the production design (‘environment’, scenic, set dressing, props, etc) within an assigned portfolio. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Production Design.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Working with the Show Director and/or Creative Director, develops concepts via sketches, storyboards, and photo studies to communicate preliminary design ideas.
  • Creates comprehensive show set packages to relay design details to internal project teams for review/approval and to vendors for bidding and construction.
  • Works with IP holders as needed on proper usage of brand, adhering to all style guides and specific IP requests.
  • Presents designs to project team and Senior Management to communicate vision and implementation of elements.
  • Monitors construction progress, assisting in identifying and resolving any unexpected conditions and/or discrepancies between the construction, drawings, and design intent.
  • Continually performs quality checks for ongoing creative maintenance of elements.
  • Manages project team support staff, artists, and vendors in all phases of production.
  • This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in theatrical and/or themed entertainment design and production.
  • Solid hand and computer drawing/drafting skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp and AutoCAD.

Our media and entertainment client is looking to hire a Media Coordinator to join their team for a contract assignment. The Media Coordinator / Specialist supports the owned assets team in the planning and execution of promotion across linear and digital platforms for the full portfolio. Responsibilities include the scheduling of promotions as well as campaign data analysis. The Coordinator will work with the media and marketing teams to ensure executions are flawless and that promotion is scheduled based on agreed upon strategies. This is not a creative or product-building role, and we are looking for candidates with experience in analytics and strategy. This position operates on a hybrid schedule out of their New York City office.

  • Pay Rate: $24 per hour
  • Duration: 3 months – possible extension

Responsibilities:

  • Implement daily / weekly promotional priorities and log scheduling
  • Traffic digital video and display creatives in Google AdManager, and Freewheel
  • Performance reporting and data analysis for linear and digital media campaigns
  • Assist with building custom targets for campaigns using historical Nielsen and Adobe data
  • Manage promo deliveries and resolve discrepancy reports from the Broadcast Center regarding promos during the workday and outside normal business hours as needed
  • Interface with Marketing, Media Logistics and Commercial Operation partners to ensure network strategies are adhered to and troubleshoot technical issues as needed
