The Ohio Masonic Home is looking for a full-time Video Production Editor and it could be YOU!

The Video Production Editor will be responsible for producing informational, testimonial, and promotional videos for The Ohio Masonic Home and all of its subsidiaries. This individual will be responsible for seeing all photo and video productions through from pre to post production, including but not limited to, planning, scripting, filming, editing, sound-mixing, graphics, output, and distribution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for sales/marketing, internal corporate videos, external promotional videos, recruiting videos, and other videos for The Ohio Masonic Home and all of its subsidiaries
• Work with the Corporate Marketing Manager on creation and design of content, tone, and overall style for videos, photos, and advertisements
• Proficient with industry-standard design tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Script, storyboard, shoot, and edit all video productions
• Expertise and flexibility in designing solutions for print, video and digital mediums
• Maintain brand guidelines and messaging of The Ohio Masonic Home and all of its subsidiaries
• Create opening/closing graphics to reinforce brand guidelines
• Upload videos to our websites, YouTube channels, and social media outlets
• Participate in weekly marketing team meetings
• Develop production schedules
• Plan photo and video shoots; scout, select, and reserve shoot locations
• Collaborate with campus, Foundation, and Resource Center teams to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content
• Manage video library
• Work independently, as well as part of the marketing team, to establish project deliverables
• Some travel to northern Ohio required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Video Production or a related field
• 1-3 years’ experience
• Creative story telling skills
• Trouble shooting skills
• Photography and Videography experience
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Teamwork skills
• Must be able to travel as needed and be insurable under OMH company policy

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Creative Project Management

Partner with agency brand teams and other appropriate parties to manage production from creative development through post-production to final client billing.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide creative oversight over every stage of Art Production projects and video adjunct projects including but not limited to Still 3D CGI, Illustration, Photo Shoot Management & Supervision, directing.

• Manage the highly complex photo shoots that include additional video segments beyond.

• Attend any and all planning meetings with account teams and creative teams regarding concepting, timing, ballparking budgets.

• Develop timelines / schedules from concept development to completion / delivery of final art; revise timelines as needed; guide teams.

• Create detailed agency estimates, presents / explains to account team.

• Know the Art Production industry, relevant agents and vendors.

• Fosters healthy vendor relationships.

• Responsible for overseeing any and all third party vendors.

• Attend photo shoots as needed; travel may be required.

• Create purchase orders and manage all relevant paperwork, including talent contracts
• Ability to manage a few projects at a time

Production Description: The upcoming Netflix film is directed by Lee Daniels known for Precious and The Butler and stars Andra Day. Andra Day was most recently in The United States vs. Billie Holiday. Glenn Close from Hillbilly Elegy and Mo’Nique (Precious). Joining the cast also includes Caleb McLaughlin from Stranger Things and Aunjanue Ellis from King Richard.

Storyline: The upcoming movie centers around a family living in a home in Pittsburgh that start experiencing strange, demonic disturbances that convict them the house is a portal to hell.

Vaccitionation Mandate

Consistent with the RTW Agreement, Netflix is mandating vaccinations on this production for performers and background actors working on set, employees present in a workspace with performer/background actor when not wearing PPE, studo teachers and other who come into close contact with minors or all roles being filled by minor (anyone under 18 years old), their on-set parent or guardian must be fully vaccinated.

Under the agreement, as of March 15, 2022, “fully vaccinated” means that a person is “up to date” on their Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccine as that term is define by the CDC (in other words, they have received the full coruse of the vaccine itself and any booster(s) the CDC indicates they are eligible to receive).
