Production Description:

A fifteen-year-old girl controls her father’s athletic ability, which is a professional football player on the field, via a video game.

The girl’s father was a former college football star who became a professional player. However, he was injured in a game and can no longer play. The girl finds out that she can control her father’s ability on the field by playing a video game. She uses this power to help her father’s team win games.

The girl’s father is amazed at his daughter’s ability to control his football playing. He is also proud of her for using her power to help his team win. The girl is happy to be able to help her father and his team.

Production Description:

Set in the deep south in the 1930s, Celie Harris is a poor, uneducated black woman who is constantly abused by her father and her husband. She has two children that she never sees and is forced to work as a maid for her husband’s family.

Celie begins to find hope when she meets Sofia, a feisty black woman who stands up for herself and her family. Sofia teaches Celie that she deserves to be respected and loved. Celie also forms a close bond with Shug Avery, an unconventional woman who helps Celie see the beauty in herself.
