Hylton Casting is currently casting extras to work on the HBO Max Limited Series Staircase. Please review the breakdown below.
Staircase – HBO Max Limited Series
Exterior Graveyard scenes and Interior Funeral Home scenes
– 4 Uniformed Cop Extras (Men must be clean shaven. The only facial hair permitted is a mustache)
– 3 Camera Crew Extras
– 3 Field Reporter Extras
– 5 News Photographer Extras
– 2 Cemetery Worker Extras
– 6 Pedestrian Extras
– 17 Mourner Extras
– 14 Mourner Extras with cars from 1991-2001
– 1 Funeral Director Extra
– Extras of all genders and ethnicities, ages 18 and older
Friday, 8/13/21
-You MUST test BOTH dates.
-If you are selected for this extra role, you must test for COVID-19 twice before each work date.
-The test performed is a Covid-19 PCR Test.
-While at the test facility and on set, PPE must be worn.
-All possible work dates are contingent upon clearing these tests.
-You may not provide test results from another outside source. You MUST be tested by the STAIRCASE Health and Safety team.
-You must test regardless of your vaccination status.
$104/8 hours (you are guaranteed 8 hours, with overtime after 8 hours)
+ COVID-19 testing bumps of a quarter check rate for any testing date outside of a work date
+ $35 Car Bump (if your car is used on camera in these scenes)
Call Time:
-Call time will not be provided until the day before the filming date. Please do not submit if you do not have open availability for the time frame listed above.
Photo Submission Requirements:
-On the submission form below, please make sure to submit recent, clear, color photos.
-The photos that you submit should reflect your current look – hair color, cut, etc.
-Please take these photos standing against a solid wall with good lighting. You may use a camera phone.
-Please submit a head shot and a full length body shot.
-Do not submit photos with snapchat filters, black and white photos, photos where you are wearing hats or sunglasses, and photos that do not reflect your current look, hair style, etc.
- Role: Chef’s Staff- Men and Women, Any Ethnicity, aged 20-55.
- –MUST be available for ALL listed test, fitting and work dates as this is a matching recurring recall in period costumes.
- WHITE HOUSE PHOTOGRAPHER – Male, Caucasian, age range 30s-40s, natural looking, conservative, professional, with PHOTOGRAPHY experience – should know how to use a professional camera, clean-cut. Sizes 38-42 suit jacket with waist sizes 30-36″, height range 5’7″-6’2″, smaller average sizes to accommodate period clothing. NO colored hair, NO shaved bald heads, NO modern/quirky haircuts, NO visible tattoos or piercings. NO facial hair other than small mustache that you are willing to have trimmed for the 1930s period style. MUST be willing to let Hair Dept cut your hair if necessary for the time period
- WHITE HOUSE UNIFORMED GUARDS – Male, Caucasian, age range 20s-30, natural looking, conservative, professional, clean-cut. Sizes 40R-42R suit jacket with waist sizes 32-36″, height range 5’8″-6’2″, smaller average sizes to accommodate period clothing. NO colored hair, NO shaved bald heads, NO modern/quirky haircuts, NO visible tattoos or piercings. NO facial hair other than small mustache that you are willing to have trimmed for the 1930s period style. MUST be willing to let Hair Dept cut your hair if necessary for the time period
