Seeking a Male Sportscaster / Commentator for a Streaming Services Campaign in Toronto!
We are looking for a host of the football show, the role that goes to a Male broadcast journalist / Commentator—aged 30 to 60. This person still understands the game and can direct the conversation/discussion. Our talent should have comedic talent and timing, a strong presence, and the ability to deliver the lines in a sports anchor fashion, with some dry humor. The goal is to play things straight as if they were a natural host leading a pregame or halftime show. Ideally, they have some broadcast/commentator experience.
Compensation is based on per person rate. If selected:
Wardrobe: $75.00.
Session Fee: $500.00./10 hrs.
All-Inclusive Buyout Fee: $7500.00.
The buyout fee is inclusive of the agency fee.
The buyout is based on the survival of the edit and includes all lifts, edits, and versions, with
Multiple 10-second additional versions (included).
Must be available for these dates in Toronto:
- Recall Date: July 20th – IN STUDIO at Jigsaw
- Wardrobe Date: August 1st, 2023.
- Shoot Date: August 3rd, 2023.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Directs and manages the research, analysis and definition of new products and product enhancements including new segmentation, coverage/endorsement needs, exposure analysis, pricing changes, marketing opportunities, underwriting changes and training needs for the assigned lines of business.
Achieves profitability goals in the assigned product lines of business.
Achieves company production goals for the assigned product lines of business.
Conducts analysis on every dimension of product performance and uses analysis to recommend and make changes to improve performance.
Analyzes and develops new product opportunities, coverage enhancements and endorsements to improve our profit picture and our market penetration.
Manages the state rate filing process for the assigned lines of business to assure compliance with all state requirements and adherence to company guidelines.
Manages all staff reporting to position. Improves performance of subordinates sharing knowledge and expertise.
Qualifications & Skills:
Qualified candidates will have a 4 year degree or equivalent work related experience.
5+ years commercial lines product management experience required.
Professional designations or working towards industry specific designations are a plus i.e. CPCU.
Previous supervisory or management experience is required.
Knowledge of local industry developments and trends.
Microsoft Office knowledge as well as the ability to work with internal company systems (WINS, ImageRight etc.).
Exceptional organization, verbal and written communication skills are highly desirable.

- This is a NON-UNION project. No acting experience is required. However, it would be best if you were outgoing and comfortable being filmed
- To apply, you MUST be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- To participate, you MUST be able to film in Toronto.
- If shortlisted, you MUST be available for a brief online interview with the director on July 7th, 10th, or 11th (TBC)
- If selected, you must be available for a wardrobe appointment on July 19th or 20th (TBC). You will only be required to briefly (about 2 hours).
- If selected, you MUST be available for filming between July 21-24th (TBC). You will only be required for one day of filming.
- If booked, you will each receive $75 for a wardrobe appointment and $500 for one day of filming.
- If your footage is in the final commercial, you will receive an additional $5,325- $7,825 for its use.
