In a recent interview with Evan Rachel Wood as part of Variety’s Actor’s on Actors, 13-year-old actress Millie Bobby Brown revealed that not only does she audition for the role of Laura Kinney, also known as X-23, in Logan, she believes that it was her best audition so far.
“Honestly, for me, I felt so–I felt an actor, in the audition room, hitting Hugh Jackman, and James Mangold sitting right in front of me” she said.
The role would later go to 11-year-old Dafne Keen. Regarding Keen’s audition, Brown said “I watched it; she was incredible. It meant so much to me.”
Despite not landing the role in Logan, Brown is now working on the second season of Stranger Things and the upcoming Godzilla sequel in Atlanta.
